John reports that he has released a short collection of, uh, short fiction: Fierce As The Grave - A Quartet of Horror Fiction.
From the Amazon summary:
"These four tales deal with the unquiet dead in all its various forms. From ghosts to vampires, zombies to vengeful spirits, these stories take you from a soft-apocalyptic future where computers are symbiotic creatures burrowing into your skin, to a post-apocalyptic world where cowboys round up zombies for slaughter. You'll witness vampires hosting the birthday party of the century in a antebellum mansion in the old south and a young boy beginning to understand that the evil he does will come back to haunt him."
As per usual, he has managed to rattle up a pretty good cover.
Sounds/looks good, right?
And it's only a measley 99c. Yes, 99 cents!
What can you buy for 99c these days? This book, that's what.
Buy it here. No word on whether it will be released in any non-American Amazon formats (though you can read it using that Kindle desktop app thingy). Word has it that John doesn't like us fuh-reh-ners*.
Also, my internet buddy Joe Howe, aka "KentAllard", has an interview with John over at Horror World, as a part of his We Interrupt This Author series. Read thathere.
(*Disclaimer: may actually like us fuh-reh-ners)
